MCREA's New Headquarters Open for Business

by David Frick, General Manager

The end to a long journey finally came on July 27, 2016. That was the day when Morgan County Rural Electric Association officially opened for business at our new headquarters building. While the line crews are still located at the old facility, all administrative functions are now being conducted at the new headquarters.

Scam Alert

We have received a report of fraudulent calls being made to people in our area threatening to disconnect their electric service if payment is not made immediately over the phone. The call in question DID NOT come from Morgan County REA. In fact, the party that received the call does not receive electric service from MCREA. Unfortunately, other electric cooperatives in Colorado and around the country have reported similar telephone scams.
